Club Uniforms

The official YRC uniform (saddle blankets, jodhpurs, polo or competition shirt) is compulsory for all official HRCAV competitive events. Whilst not compulsory, we encourage members to wear the club’s long or short sleeved polo to rallies and in-house competitions.

Club Colours

YRC’s club colours are navy and gold, where navy is the predominant colour and gold the trim and logo. Please note that the “gold” is yellow as opposed to a metallic gold.

Saddle Blankets

Saddle blankets must be navy with gold trim, or white. The club logo should be on the bottom rear quarter of each side.  B-Cut will embroider the logo directly onto your saddle pad, while you can buy a logo patch at Finer Embroidery which you can stitch on, or they will do it for you. Both of these places should be able to add gold trim to your saddle blanket if you can’t buy one that already has it.

Jodhpurs

Jodhpurs must be white, beige or navy.

Polos

Our club polos are the Winning Spirit “Legend” range in Navy/Gold, available in both short and long sleeved versions, and in ladies, men’s or kid’s fit. You can views the size charts at winningspirit.com.au.

  • 160gsm - 60% Cotton, 40% Polyester

  • Breathable mesh panels under arms & on sides

  • Contrast panels and piping on shoulders and sleeves - front and back

The polo has the club logo on the front left, and “Yackandandah” across the back.

B-Cut have our most recent embroidery files. They can order the polos for you if you prefer, or will embroider onto the polo you supply. Embroidery cost is approximately $15 total for the logo on the front and “Yackandandah” on the back. Around $7-8 for each logo on a saddle pad.

Rain Jackets and Beanies

Jackets and beanies are not compulsory club uniform, however many members have them. If you would like to order a jacket or beanie, the Winning Spirit Codes are:

  • JK01 - Winning Spirit Stadium Unisex Jacket – Navy/Navy

Fabric: Oxford Shell, 155gsm - Outer - 100% Polyester. Water repellent Oxford shell, inner with thick anti-pill polar fleece, Hideaway hood with drawstring closure. Front chunky zip under press-studded storm flap, high wind collar and adjustable cuff with Velcro flap. The jacket should have the club logo on the front left and "Yackandandah" across the back. Available in adult and kids sizes.

  • Ch27 – Winning Spirit Polar Fleece Beanie. 100% polyester beanie with roll up for warmth. One size fits most. Logo should go onto the front.  

Hats

As part of the club’s SunSmart policy, bucket hats are available to purchase for a subsidised price.

Vests and Stocks/Ties

Neither vests nor stocks/ties are compulsory uniform, however many riders prefer them for showing and dressage. You are welcome to source your own vest and/or stock, as long as it complies to club colours (ie. navy with gold trim) and has the club logo on the front left. Under a vest you can wear a white, pale blue, or pale yellow shirt. You can choose to wear a stock, tie or neither.

Riding Jackets

Riding Jackets are not allowed as part of HRCAV club uniforms. You must wear your club polo, vest or competition shirt.
